4 Parents
Deuteronomy 6:5-9:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
WOW! What a charge from God's word to you as parents! God has given you the primary responsibility to teach, talk, and demonstrate to your sons and daughters what we know in the New Testament as the Greatest Commandment. While this incredible task sometimes seems overwhelming we want to let you know that the Remedy Student Ministry desires to come along side you and assist in this discipleship process.
You should know that we ...
We care about your son / daughter - the leaders who help in our student ministries have two things in common: They love God and they love our students. Our leaders enjoy being around students and have a passion to see them grow in their relationship with Christ as well as grow into adulthood. We have counseled many of our youth that need someone to talk to about the hurts they face in daily life.
We care about you - many of our volunteers are parents themselves and understand the incredible responsibility you face every day as a parent. For those of us who are not yet parents, we see how hard it is for you to raise your children in this busy and crazy world. Not a day goes by that we do not pray for you as a parent. On Wednesday nights we have an adult service in our main sanctuary where you can grow with God's word as your children do.
We care about your family - we don't want a ministry with just your son/daughter, we want a ministry with your family. We want to help your family succeed. Our goal is to create a partnership between our ministry in the church body and your family. We desire to lock arms and work together to honor God in all that we do.
If you have any questions or want to talk about your son / daughter give us a call or contact us and we will get back to you.
